Powercell Limited Signs MoU with REA to Empower 250 Nigerian Communities with Clean Energy

Powercell Limited is proud to announce the signing of a transformative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rural Electrification Agency of Nigeria (REA). This landmark agreement represents a pivotal step in our mission to deliver clean, reliable, and sustainable energy to underserved communities across Nigeria.

Expanding Access to Clean Energy

As one of the selected Renewable Energy Service Companies (RESCOs) under this initiative, Powercell is committed to deploying mini-grid solutions that will electrify 250 rural communities across Benue, Ondo, Oyo, Ogun, and Nassarawa States.

By the end of 2025, this project is set to add 25 megawatts of renewable energy capacity, directly improving the quality of life for millions of Nigerians while stimulating economic activity in rural and peri-urban areas.
